Interests |
Sperm-egg interactions
in invertebrate model systems; Tracking sperm components during early development;
Ciliary and flagellar function in sperm, cells and living tissues
to understand dynamic ciliary events. Current research includes: i) imaging
particle capture in real time in gill tissue of fresh and marine water
bivalves and ii) tracking particle movement in egg cytoplasm generated
by molecular motors interacting with incorporated sperm flagella |
